ABOUT ME

LEE PUGSLEY is a legally blind actor, director, and writer, whose passion for storytelling and entertainment was birthed at a young age.  He grew up in Idaho where he spent his time acting in community theater and school plays, as well as writing scripts which he forced his friends to perform.  Upon high school graduation, Lee moved to Orange County where he earned a bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts: Directing and Performance from Vanguard University of Southern California.  During his college years, Lee discovered his love of directing and began work as a director and acting coach. In his professional experience, Lee has worked at Southcoast Repertory Theatre, the Williamstown Theatre Festival, and performed at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.  Lee is a firm believer that every individual has potential and he strives to help them find it.

“As a long-time voice instructor, I’ve been fortunate to have Lee coach my voice students in a workshop setting and one-on-one. Lee’s extensive knowledge of Music Theater repertoire is second to none.  His insight into human nature and ability to guide an actor and singer to relate their own experiences to that of their character, is truly masterful..”
